Jeff.

My friend.

I think we all love you alot.

That being said, I am noticing a a pattern of certain HUNDRED DOLLAR TII guy around here.

Lots of projects, lots of promise. But no completion.

Please don't take this the wrong way, as I have an incredible amount of respect for you,
but perhaps, you might want to finish some of your current projects before starting on others.

Just my 02 cents..

The only project I started recently and haven't completed yet is the 20B project. Thanks for the concern though.

Edit: I'm not on here enough these days to see whether or not you complete anything either way, lol. Someone should message me when you post completed works.

Either way. You possess more knowledge of these cars than I could ever imagine having.

Then I stand corrected. Sorry about that, I thought I read something about a 4 rotor before.I might be confused in my old age.

I do have a lot of projects running simultaneously. I wouldn't recommend it.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to create a quick list of what's complete and what is still, well, 'pending' as it were. In order of appearance:

Rotarded MG Midget project pending. Engine and tranny are in. That's the hard part. The rest is easy like exhaust, brake job, suspension bushings etc.

Awesome '74 engine in the red REPU complete. It's a daily driver that needs miles now before it gets a supercharger. Gotta break it in.

'76 Cosmo auto to manual conversion pending. I pulled the auto and discovered a rear seal leak so I pulled the engine as well. The manual and a different engine (for my baja 13B project) are now in (for break in). It just needs pedals, master and slave, exhaust - all of which I have sitting in the garage waiting for a rainy day. The Comso engine will get rebuilt when I'm ready to drop the current engine into the baja.

White REPU complete. This project served daily driver status for several years and now just needs a set of u-joints and rims+tires and exhaust. It's not technically pending for me because I'm letting the next owner deal with it.

GLC Sport streetported 13B complete. PercentSevenC now drives it daily.

Ghetto 4 rotor project. This isn't my project. I'm just helping a friend. We're waiting on parts from overseas. It will go into a friend's GSL-SE.

Black '84 automatic complete. Rebuilt the 12A with 12ATurbo rotor housings, header exhaust, modded Nikki, channeled manifold etc. Was sold to a forum member who drives it daily.

Silver bullet '83 complete. 5" Camden SC on a streetported 4 port 13B and RB 'streetport' dual pipe exhaust. Serves as a daily driver.

Another one bites the Hayes complete. Remember that Hayes 12A that dropped its oil pickup tube in the oil pan? We built another engine and dropped it into the orange '81 and sold it.

White '83 GSL complete. This project was completed and served as a daily driver until I pulled the 12A for a 20B.

Black '83 complete. Large streetport 4 port 13B, 48 IDF, RB 'streetport' dual pipe exhaust, completed just a couple weeks ago. As of Monday it purrs like a lion (they purr right?)

S model project pending. Was delivered yesterday and I immediately took some pictures. What you see above is how it looked right after I got it. Looks like it needs some things don't it.

Here's the nice mild ported 12A I pulled from the white '83. It ran like a champ.

My friend, the one who drives a supercharged FB, asked me whether this engine was NA or supercharged after I gave him a little acceleration demonstration. This engine runs like a champ. The light steel flywheel has since been replaced with a stocker, but that's ok. '83-'85 flywheels aren't that bad.

Also the exhaust will be downgraded from the RB dual pipe to a manifold and single pipe. No presilencer though. The center section was missing from this car. From the Y adaptor forward was cut out and replaced by some thinwall muffler shop crap pipe and even a flex pipe. Can you imagine how loud this car was? I have some medium wall pipe to try, which will be an improvement at least.

I also have an FB tranny sitting here to try. I think I have everything I need to get it running again.

I can when they don't need to pass emissions anymore.

For the longest time I was strictly old school. Then ten years ago I made myself a promise. When 1st gens no longer need to pass emissions, I'll get one. It's an '81 (I think 1-81 very early FB) and even has good tabs. I'm all set.

Thanks! Is the sunroof dealer installed? I've seen other S models with this type of aftermarket-looking sunroof.

It's hard to tell from that angle, but it doesnt' look like a factory sunroof. You've got your work cut out for you jeff! Can't wait to see that 20b take shape, or the 4 rotor....

No problem, Jeff.

Actually, the white '83 (20B pending) was my old car. The motor that is now in the S was its engine.

I picked up an RB dual pipe center section and header for it today. It's great because it will bolt right up to the stock '81-'82 muffler.

Then all that's left is radiator and interior cleanup and she's ready to fire.

The car this came out of had a totally water damaged engine and the whole exhaust had water in it. I'm testing this in the S model for a friend to see how well it works.
