Well,
I broke down and bought the Royal Purple because I want the best for my car. I got five quarts for the regular area and two quarts of two stroke.
So what's the pre-mixing presets? If you overfill can you screw up your engine, etc...

um, im not sure about what your asking, but have you always ran synthetic oil in your engine? I heard that if you change suddenly after using the mineral typ for a while that the synthetic can cause problems(leaking)......Just what i have heard, if it works out ok let us know cause that would be fun to try, i dont really have much else to buy anyways..God Bless
I've used Royal Purple for many years. Engine oil, gear lube, premix, bearing grease, etc. Great stuff. Switching a high-mileage car can (but not necessarily) cause some leakage due to the seals previously being swollen by mineral oil, but it's not a big deal as you can always go back. As for premix, my usual ratio -- presuming no stock oil metering -- is 128:1, which conveniently works out to one ounce per gallon. With stock oil metering, I would suggest a much lower ratio...something around one ounce per four gallons.
[preemptive rant] Before some mindless parrot repeats bogus information, quality synthetic oils like Royal Purple and Mobil 1 are PERFECTLY safe for use in the crank case of a rotary engine cars, even with the stock oil metering system. There is LESS build-up of carbon deposits and other nasty stuff, depsite the completely unfounded rumors that have been circulating the internet for years. I've only been using synthetics for 7 years or so, but Rob Golden of Pineapple Racing has over 12 years on synthetics in his personal vehicles and those of his clients.[/preemptive rant]

Well,
I talked to evita and when he was over here dropping off the third member he told me I need to start premixing.
From what I understood you use 20W-50 in the regular fill up point and take the bar off and block it off that controls the amount that’s injected in with the throttle and then start premixing.

the more premix you use, the more you lower the octane level and combustability of the gasoline mixture. the more oil you run in the gasoline will also relatively make the mixture be leaner whereas less oil means the mixture will be richer.
I have a two stroke motorcycle so the type of premix and how much you run is very important in the fuel mixture.

Alright,
It's Royal Purple.
How many gallons do our tanks hold? I usually run my car to right between the middle of the E and 1/4 mark, if I filled how much would I put in?
Will it hurt to drive to the gas station (5 minutes) with Royal Purple in it without the Bar disabled and blocked off and premixing?

No, It shouldn't hurt, but you can do it in reverse order if you are worried. Go fill up, then come home, put the premix in and dsiable the omp.
It won't hurt to pump the gas , then look at how much fuel you put in, then add your premix accordingly.

Alright,
So, I changed the oil and filled up the Royal Purple and put a OEM Filter on (from RB) and then I put about three dollars worth of 87 into the 7 and came home and I disconnected the OMP bar and put about two seconds worth of two cycle RP into the gas tank.
Is there a way to tell if you've done something wrong or did I do it right? Is the bar supposed to be a certain way...etc.etc

I'm thinking about maybe hooking back up the bar and just premixing with using the OMP...I don't know if I trust my self..
Can you still pre-mix doing this? Is it safer than not using the OMP at all?
