A deer hit me one night last year. Cut me right off. Bashed my front end all to hell, but not a scratch on his. He didn't even stick around to swap info. (Probly dunnin have any insurance anyway.)
Not only did he cut me off, but he was speeding and he didn't have any lights on!

GD deer!

Anyhow, my poor gal will be sporting two black fenders.
I keep reassuring her that scince she's a "labor of love", and she's always a "work in progress", I'll always love her. I don't think she believes me, though.
(My wife doesn't buy that angle when I use it about the various on-going household projects, either.)

well I am still in, been working like mad to make the car ready for the cruise down there. My dad gets back tomorrow night and we are going to work like crazy to fix the electrical systems in his 90 GTUs so he can bring it too, otherwise we may just bring one or he can get the 85 all set.

I was planning on bringing some fresh breakfast sausage and venison salami.

As for the Saturday dinner, I don't know if we settled on a menu. I threw this out:

BBQ chicken or ribs
Corn-on-the-cob
Baked Beans or potato salad
Watermelon

Oooohhh...Someone needs to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. One big bag of charcoal should do the trick.

do we want burgers and hot dogs too? I know I do, I'm not a huge fan of ribs or chicken on the grill. Maybe I'll bring some, along with rolls. Is everyone just gonna take care of themselves drink wise? That would probably be easiest, I'm sure we'll all want something different.

to be honest, its not that I don't like chicken or ribs on teh grill, but sometimes that doesn't settle too well. Burgers and hot dogs never give me a problem. Thats the main reason I wanna do that. nothing worse than stomach problems in the middle of the woods

Loaded most of everything in the car tonight to make sure it will fit.. It's gonna be tight! This car is better suited for backpacking trips, not car camping!
