is that a rotary?

To this day I receive complements and questions about the rotary/wankel engine...
Thumbs up and wankel screamed from passers-by ... I hope Mazda can find a place for its rotary once again!

Likewise - as I suspect many here get the same reaction. I think its the looks that catch the eye, THEN they seem to recall "oh, yeah, that has a rotary in it!"...

;D

Theres an airfield very close to me that has several aviation rotaries. You can spot the owners of those planes pretty easily by gauging the length of time they stare/talk to you about your car.

My car is starting to attract an interesting mix of old and young enthusiast at the Charlotte Cars
and Coffee event. The old ones always say about the same thing, "I used to have/know
someone that had one back in the day". The young ones look at the ignition and the carb and
ask a a lot of questions or have puzzled looks on their faces about what they are seeing. Very
entertaining either way.
