rotar gear with e-shaft teeth

rotar gear with e-shaft teeth

i want to rebuild my 12a and i was wondering when i put the rotars back in do i have to match the gears on the rotar a certain way with the teeth on the e-shaft or is there only one way it fits. thanks.

There are no gears on the e-shaft. The rotor gears mesh with the stationary gears which are attached to the front and rear irons. There's only one way they can go on.

There are actually three ways they can go on but they all place the rotor in the same correct spot. (three sides to the rotor but only one place it will go in with all apexs touching the housing)
