yeah i wrote the guy and told him he wasnt going to sell it for that much... and he asked me what would be a reasonable price... he is japanese.. so he speaks in broken english.. he has listed the car like 7 times now.. still no takers.

 

Seven times? Over what period of time has he been trying to sell this 7?

It would be a great car to get and return to complete original condition merely for the fact they're rare overseas in the holy land that is Japan. (or you could say the holy land is felix's hometown, either way)

 

well i have seen it over the past 5 months.. it would be a nice car.. but not for 5500

I must say I do hope that someone will buy it and make it completely worth it. Maybe a RE-Anniversary-Amemi-Wantanabe-Bride shebang.

 

I've seen it for ~2 years, I think. At this rate of price decrease, he should sell it sometime in 2010.

He'll probably end up selling it for whatever it cost to ship it. Maybe less.

Ditto. I think when it was first listed it was like $7000 or something, the last time I saw it, it was at like $5000 or something. I dont know what its at now, I didnt click the link cause I have dial up and Im too lazy to let it load since I know exactly what youre talking about, lol. I wouldnt mind having it either, its a damn cool car, but way to expensive.

I wonder why he bothered importing it at all. I mean, 12AT gets style points for rarity, but the rest of the car is only fair condition. If I were an importer, I'd have brought the cream of the crop.

Anyhoo, buying a 12AT motor sans RHD body sounds like a much better idea.
