ReSpeed Sway Bar

For those of you who have installed the bar... does it look like I need to trim some material on top of the bar at this location? It touches the chassis, but tt does seem to move fine.

If you all think I do need to trim can I see some pics of yours please?

Thanks

Pics to come after I've reinstalled, as it's not on the car at the moment, but I removed a significant amount of metal with an angle grinder.

I just beat that bit up a bit with a hammer. Kinda folded it, rounded it, threw some paint on it and all was good. I'm talking about the chassis, don't try to modify the bar itself.

On my car I ground that seam down a little bit with a flap disc and painted it with some rustoleum. I have no pictures of it though.

So just for anyone curious in the future I believe you should grind come metal away.

Here is a picture of how much I took out. The sway bar does not rub on the chassis at all.

Yep, you can grind it off or just beat it with a hammer and kind of "fold" it over like I did. Pretty simple to do.

Have you had the chance to drive it yet? This is probably the most improvement any single piece of equipment will ever have on your car.

I used a grinder the fury of someone that wants his car back together. Came out pretty well.
