While I'm gearing up to repaint the car, I've decided to replace the badges with vinyl graphics. I was able to get a JDM Savanna Rx-7 badge and trace it.

It's not 100% perfect. I cut it out on paper with a CNC laser machine and while each individual letter lines up perfectly, they have been spaced out so that the overall "Savanna" on paper is stretched a little further than it is on the badge. There must have been some distortion when I laid the badge on the scanner.

It's attached in PDF format created in Illustrator.
