Well, tonight was the first night i have driven the 7 in over 3 months. I got it going the other night . Well my dad came over tonight and i took him for a ride. It ran nice considering its not ran in that long. I did not rev it over 6000 rpm but heck i was doing 75 in 4th and 60 in 3rd. I roasted them in 1st and 2nd. Man i was pretty proud of the rotor. Well once we got back i had a weird smell. it smelled like it was coming from the tranny bell housing. It was not sweet or burning or just heat, when you stuck your nose right at the inspection plate it burned when you breathed in. Not sure what it is, the clutch and flywheel and motor dont even have 5000 miles on them, so not sure any ideas??

I designed and machined that myself on a highspeed OKK CNC for a school project
yes that is a air intake that mounts on the carb and is ducted out to a 4 inch filter. the canister is machined out of solid aluminum and then welded to 4 tubing (4 1/2 O.D) and i used nohub ducting conectors to link all the piiping together. the only thing i have to do to it now is cut thru to the drilled holes to make the apex seal groves and then smooth out the weld.

No i work for a die and mold making company and im doing an aprenticship. my last year of school at a communitiy college i had to do a "CO-OP" (or at least say i did, i had to be there anyways for work) to get more credit hours. for the co-op i had to set three goals to get the credit. One of them was to make somthing from nothing on Surfcam and machine it on the highspeed OKK. I designed it made the jigs to hold the part programmed it and cut it and since i also just started welding form them i welded the pipe too. Yeah my teachers seemed to like it, i got the credit hours plus a cool free intake. I would make more but the aluminum is expensive and people are cheap LOL. i mentoined it on here a while back but no response. It takes some time to machine, and to finish it. its a one off and i think it looks good, its a little heavy but looks good and is functionable
