Rebuilt engine

My engine has been rebuilt 15k miles ago, or so the prev owner says. I want to streetport/bridgeport the engine, and i will be needing new seals. I dont want to put it this way, but what is the minimum kit I can buy for gaskets and seals? i dont want to be dropping 1k on it right away

Its all gonna depend on how everything looks when you tear it apart. Expect to spend around 200-300 bc i would replace the springs.

At a minimum, a gasket kit, under 200 bucks. Springs should still be good, but fresh apex seal springs wouldn't hurt. I would also upgrade to solid corner seals and 3rd gen corner seal springs.

If you go for a bridgeport, you should upgrade to the hardened stationary gears, 3-window and clearenced bearings, have the rotating assemby balanced, the rotors clearenced and the higher oil pressure regulator along with the 17.5 mm oil pump.

The 8k+ rpm mods run more than a full rebuild kit, lol. If you don't plan on running 8k rpms the 1st paragraph will suffice. If you do go bp, you will be missing out some on using some of the new found hp staying under 8k.
