Rebuilt carb no fuel into engine

I recently rebuilt my carb in my new 82 I got that hasn’t run in a few years. This is my first car with a carb so everything I learned is from forums and Rad Potential on YouTube. The carb was filled with dirt and varnish that I cleaned out by soaking with carb cleaner, purple power, and compressed air. When I put the carb back on the car I made sure the fuel level was fine fine in the sight glass and started her up. I have a new fuel cell with new fuel lines, pump and a filter before the pump and one before the carb. I can see that fuel is going to the carb through the fuel filter however no fuel will go into the engine. I have taken apart the carb and made sure the jets were clear which they are. Any suggestions on what the issue could be before I put it back together?

Did you check the idle screw at the base of the carb?

Make sure that it's closed to the left and then turn it 3 full turns to the right. That is the factory set for the screw.....

Hope it helps.......

tap the tops of the fuel inlet bolts. Sometimes the needles will stick when they are new.

What he said

If you look at the float bowl windows you can see if they are empty, if they are empty, look closer, you can see the position of the floats, if they are stuck in the up position, the needles are closed. if they are down the fuel is not getting there for some other reason.
