Carb help

My 1979 has a carb problem. The Fuel gets to the Carb just fine, but once at the carb nothing happens (won't fire). Priming causes it to fire but as soon as that fuel is burned off it dies.

ck fuel filter and pump. there isnt enough gas in the carb.

Check the float bowl sight glass. One in front, one in back. They should be 1/2 full all the time. If not, there is a problem.
