well, i've got an engine in my garage that has some numbers on the front housing. i've heard they were mazda reman numbers but don't know what they mean as of year. can anybody help me? here are the numbers and how they sit.

yes, the yellow numbers were the junk yard joke. but i do wanna find out what the stamped ones mean. the engine has great compression, hopeing to at least find the year it was rebuilt.

 

I would imagine your best bet is to ask the Mazda dealer what they mean.
