If you are missing a rear subframe, flip the car around. you have it backwards. Joking aside, I am assuming that metrotastic is trying to figure out how to attach an axle to the chassis. Is this correct? Do you have an axle? Most components can be purchased , for mind bending prices, from places like Mazdatrix or Atkins Rotary. If you are looking for more of a challenge Granny's Speed shop has parts to stick domestic parts in your rear.

Is the OP in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia? If so, he might have more luck finding parts and chasing down places to find them at AusRotary - Index page

Yeah im still new to rx7s we found a shell abandoned with no engine, gearbox, diff or axles. Just trying to work out what parts i need to get it rolling so it can get moved back to a workshop.

Well that would be an Aussie delivered series 3, not a series 1. Feel free to check out AusRotary - Index page where you'll find heaps of Australian-specific builds and info. Join and introduce yourself.

The series 3 diff has bigger axles and brakes and is pretty sought after as an upgrade for s1-2 cars. The car was probably stolen and the diff pulled and sold separately. The way to get going is to find a diff and the trailing arms (if they're not on there) and some wheels in 4x114.3 stud pattern. The diff is worth about A$500-800 and don't exactly grow on trees. Might be cheaper and easier just to get it pulled onto a tailer and taken to a workshop! Then you can fit whatever diff you want. Depending on your plans, this could be standard Mazda, Hilux, Borgwarner or even Ford 9".
