Hi All,

I've aquired a rear storage bin setup for my Aus spec s5.
The frame was damaged in transit so I've done average patch job to repair and put them in to see how it all lines up.




There's a large gap on the sides of the frame and doesn't look the be any mounting points. (Please see the photos)

Are there any extra bits I'm missing ?
I'll be looking for another set of frames once the shipping insurance comes through.

Can someone post photos of how they're mounted from similar angles to the ones I've taken ?

did you buy S5 bin frames or S4? in the USA only these are different. the USA S4 bin frames are the same as the rest of the worlds. the USA S5 are different, and have more clearance at the B pillar for the stupid government mandated seat belts we got (we do it to ourselves.. see Ricky Bobby, Crepes).

unfortunately the carpet is different too (its cut a bit shorter for the belts), and the only S4 we got in black was the 10AE...

so the rear on yours looks ok, and the front just has the 4 (?) on the leading edge.

 

I believe they are S5 frames. the rear mounting points all line up its just the sides where there is a gap in the 2nd and 3rd images Im unsure of.
I have two sets of carpet and did notice a slight difference when comparing the two. one must be a S4/Infini and the other a us S5.

Are you able to get some images from similar angles for me ?

 

Spent a few hours searching through the image and build threads and found a few photos.
That empty space on my one is where the motor would sit for the seatbelt.

Hope this thread/photo helps anyone else who may be wondering the same thing in the future
