RB power pulse intake issue!

wow, so first of all, if you dont have the little carb hat from racing beat(54 bucks) get it!!! flows noticably better and makes really sweet noises under the hood..........but i still have emissions and i was stupid enough to buy one anyway......what should i do with all thos extra hoses sucking in air? i dont want to drill holes in the new hat because that would kill the flow of air.......what should i do? does it matter if my air pump sucks in unfiltered air?..........................also i finally figured out what the tube running to my cats is for(backpressure) if i leave my air pump on and put a blocking plate on the tube will my pump like explode and die......?

if you don't need it remove it would be my theory and all the vaccum lines just get the line connectors and run them back into each other so you don't have any leaks or drilling to do.

if u don't have to worry about passing emissions, just rip it all out.

The other hoses are things like the shutter valve and such.

See any HP increase with it?

i dont know about actual hp increase but revs are totally noticably quicker, my car was freed up with exhaust and a bonez filter lid but now my car REALLY feels like its happy and can breathe as much as it needs to, i would totally recomend it for performance gain, at 50 bucks there's not much else you could buy to make at least a little difference...it feels like a new carb very pleased
