RB Header Damage

Can anyone tell me how bad this damage is going to affect performance if at all?

Marginal.
Not something Id enjoy seeing, but usable none the less.

Id try it, and if you happened to have any issues with the rear rotor (doubtfull)..It really doesnt look that hard to fix.

A sawzall, piece of 2" mild steel tube, a welder, and about 30 mins would fix it up to be as good as new with minimal effort.

Good luck!

i wouldn't even go that route, i would get my self a dent puller for auto body work and pul away then weld up the holes.

Someone must have used this on a old school car, like a rx-2, rx-3, and dented it for steering clearance. I used to see it all the time.

Coolness, I traded a 12A RB road race header for it as I needed 13B. I'm not really good with headers so just wanted to see what you all thought about it to see if I should do anything before installing it I was well aware of the dent and totally cool with it but wanted to be sure I wasn't wrong about it not being all that bad.

The PO of the GLC did that too. I built a custom header that fits much better. I even had enough room to replace the idler arm bushings.
