Rats nest on my 1985 12A

I'm working on putting the rats nest back together. New silicone hoses and all. Anyway, between the 2 nests I have to make one good one, I've broken the Relief solonoid valve(blue dot) on the nest. All the plastic is brittle due to age. I'd replace the broken parts and pieces if I could find new replacement parts. Does the Mazda dealer carry them? Other parts stores maybe?

Can I put the Switching solonoid valve(gray dot) in place of the blue?

Another related question. How hard would it be to just completely remove the damn rats nest? I will have the stock carb on though?????????

Easy. If you dont need it to pass emissions, toss it. Theres a great write-up here by Carl. Remember that this guide shows how to remove ALL emissions, cat converter, air pump, rats nest, everything.

Also check out the attached drawing to make sense of it all. If you're like me the picture will show you everything you need to know. I can't remember who made it, but thank you whoever you are. Come and claim your praise here.

And if you still want to keep the nest I have a solenoid for you.

That's the problem, I need emissions! I live in one of the 2 areas in AZ that have friggin' smog testing.

Sorry about that, not sure what happened. try it here.

And RexRX, let me know if you want that Relief solenoid valve. Luckily Minnesota doesn't do testing . That makes up for the long winters.

I'll take the whole rats nest. I'll trade ya any parts from my donor car, if you need any?

The rats nest fits perfectly in a flat rate box.

Let me know

I'll trade you all of it (except the AC solenoid and the stock purge valve, I need to keep those) for a stock oil filter pedestal if you've got one. PM me back and let me know.
