Rats nest

I have an '84 12a that I am resurecting as a racecar. I don't really know anything about these cars, but I am fairly mechanically minded. I believe I need to remove the rats nest. I see several links on this forum on how to do it, all of which (that I have found) are broken. Can anybody point me to a good link? I have docs on how to do it, pics are real bad. I don't know enough of the vocabulary of the engine to follow it without some pics.

This is really easy to do once you ditch the nest, the hoses are simple. Since your useing it as a race car (if it has it) take out the a/c that way you dont have to use any of the valves. Just skip the steps to hook up a/c and plug everything.

Also since this is a race car and you wont be re-installing the rats nest, do us a favor and video you smashing the **** out of it, unless you wanna sell it to someone who needs it.
