im new pls tell me what a rats nest is, everyone makes refrence to them but i cant figure out what it is.

 

It's the pollution control stuff that sits on top of the engine, lots of wires, tubes and brightly colored plastic parts that looks like a rats nest.

Ya I had that problem to, untill I did a SEARCH and found out that it is a large portion of the emissions system. That can be removed on cars that don't need to pass e-testes. There is a how to for rats nest removal and it has picures of it.

But I'll let you find that with a SEARCH
