Rainbow Dash Brony Lovefest Megathread
Wasn't me, I swear.
That Pony picture is an excellent idea Mark. You don't want to overdo it and it definitely needs to be something tasteful. Those Ponies would look perfect on the hood.
Down here in the Atlanta area hood painting is a fine art:

Ok the front plate was hooked up to the engine stand. That can mean only one thing.
Oh and to the lonely tagger, brony is usually spelled with a y at the end.

I've often wondered where the tags come from. Most tags make no sense whatsoever. On my AC thread, someone tagged "everco, 146991, flushing, flushed, rotor, transform". None of these have anything to do with it. Then on here: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/first-rebuild-help-959268/ we have "firsdt, rx7club, rx8" I also enjoyed the tags "1231, girl, jen, luv, front, and engine".
I swear there is a monkey on a keyboard tagging random words to posts.

Ah, so it's just kids trying to be cool.
Ok, the rotors are all loaded up with springs and seals. Just gotta finish cleaning the rotor housing edges. Then I can stack this thing. I've got a couple jobs to do today but maybe this evening...

I can't wait to see the brony lovefest 13B you're putting together there Jeff.
Post some photos of your Wondrous Wankel when you get it wiggled together.
Maybe even a video if you can get some help from your little pony friends

Sarge, ."ray is off his meds" doesn't make any sense. I don't take any meds and never have. At least not since I got tenure.
It's just that I like those little ponies and I like what Jeff is doing.
It's way more creative than most of the other builds going on these days. If he adds the hood there's no telling.
Jeff, post some pics and videos, would you?

Finally got some work done. It's stacked. End play is set to .0025". Front cover is on, drilled for an oil return for future turbo/supercharger. Aluminum flywheel, HD disc, centerforce pressure plate.

Thanks a lot, Jeff... Thanks a lot.
The IT guys at work, if they're watching my internet traffic, already know. But I'm not gonna let the Lounge know just yet that I'm at least 20% cooler.
Just finished season 1.
