Racing Beat headers question

my friend is trying to get rid of his racing beat headers...he is selling them to me for $100...would it be worth it..because new ones run around 250...they look new just the heat gives it that color on the corners...so should i get them...would it work just like the new ones...i just have stock ones...what to do?

Forget it man... They are useless once they are used and become discolored. What this guys number so I can call him to make sure he can remove them properly before sending them to the dump? Lol.

The RB headers are indestructable because they're made from super thick walled tubing and flanges. Even if they were rusty and looked like **** you should still get them. They will literally outlast the car.

I have to correct you. If you road race heavily with them, or any header, you will eventually burn through them. Thats running redline all day for 3 years, when the header glows bright red.

Normal driving, you'll never see the end of its life.

I stand corrected.

I'm pretty sure the OP isn't going road racing tho.

I have them on my first gen, they still look good after 2 years. Mine are for a 13b however, and tomorrow *should* be it's first day back on the road. I'm excited.

Lol, cool. Good luck with getting those man... when I put mine on about a month ago, it was a HUGE difference. I replaced the cat with a straight pipe at the same time though. You'll be surprised with the jump in power you'll recieve.
