The full system will be FAR quieter than just the header and silencer - trust me. I had just the stock port header and silencer on my car with a stock muffler and it was the worst fart cannon Ive ever heard, like one giant wet fart. Got the RB muffler for it and its a thing of beauty.

EDIT: My stock port complete system for a 12A is for sale for $500 obo.

I think he's asking about the difference between the "street port" one and the "streetable" one

The one with the dual long primaries, which collect just before the muffler is louder. The one with the single pipe is quieter.

Both are louder than stock, but not unpleasantly so.

I've heard them both and the dual pipe version is louder, but not ticket attracting-so.

I ask because i have the stock port (streetable) header and single presilencer, and it is too damn loud. I am probably going to take it off and replace with stock if there is no fix.

Be prepared to take a big hit in performance if you replace it with a stock system.

Or you can have a REALLY loud exhaust like me, streetable header, with a straight pipe back to the stock muffler. That is wayyyyy to loud. And it does sound sorta like one big fart. But I'm too broke right now to buy a r/b one. Soon hopefully.

Dude.. if it's "really loud".. what muffler are you running? Have it checked for leaks 'cause even a pinhole leak will triple the noise level. I know, my friend eric went through all that.

you don't know pain until you've ran just open road race headers, on the track up to 9k with all of the sound deadening gone...hehe it sucks so bad.

my car still has the stock mani on it, some sort of pipe thing back to what looks like a RB muffler. it is quiet. open road race headers vs open stockers is no caparison the headers blow away the stockers, trust me i compared for fun this weekend.

Ok so I have a very small "pinhole" leak, and all the sound deafening removed, and most of the carpet, and paneling, and the bins. But that is all going back in in a couple of days.
Wow, open road race....that is making my ears hurt thinking about it.
