quick question

the leading coil is the one closet to the headlight right i belive my coils may be backwars on the cap if that the case and the leading plugs are the top plugs on the rotor housings right? just got the car and trying to figure out why its not running very well

Leading is LOWER..... Trailing is TOP...................... Hope this helps............ Not sure on teh coils maybe someone here can help, its been awhile............

Best bet is to download the FSM and wiring diagram, never know what a previous owner may have done. Tracing down the wire colors is the best way to go to know for sure.

on my car the trailing coil is towards the front of tha car, leading is towards the rear.

ditto, my trailing coil is closest to headlights (the one w/ the blue boots around the terminals)

Just switch em and take it for a test drive. If they were backwards you'll have a noticable power increase at above 4000 or 5000 rpm. If they were right to begin with, the car will feel slower and like it just sort crawls toward redline.

now this is the least of my concerns i was driving my car yesterday and some lady pulled out in front of me about a half a car lengeth away and i tried to stop and ended up on the curb becasue of how wet it was and now my cars got oil leaking out from under it. its to wet for me to go out and lay under it to see whats leaking right now
