Would ther be any disadvantage to going with a harder bushing for the idler arms? Maybe polyurethane or something...

I thought be decided that the idler arms dont have rubber bushings? They're plastic or brass or something like that.

Thats what steve thinks. When i ordered mine they were just like. "okay, no questions asked" If your trying to fit it to the stock bar i don't see why there would be any difficulty. If you can wait until i get home i could measure it for you. (didnt drive to work today).

Nah, I'll give it a try without knowing, if that doesn't work I'll measure it tonight when I get home and order tomorrow. Thanks for the offer though. If it is a kit and the bushings are made to fit the stock brackets, I can't imagine that they really need to know this. Here I go to order!

I dont know what theyre made out of, but MazdaTrix sells them

That's what they'd be going in. I may even be a nice guy and do a set for my pops in his 85. How long did it take you to install them? Any of them pressed in?
