Questions about Moser Axles for GSL , GSL-SE rear ends

I am rebuilding a GSL-SE rear, and I have a question for members that have ACTUAL experience with Moser replacement axles. I have found an old link to replacement axles on RX7.org that gives an Invoice # for reference when ordering axles for either a GSL or GSL-SE rear. The ones referenced are longer to fit a Miata diff.

Quote from RX7.org - "You can order axles direct from Moser Engineering @ 260-726-6689 for $295/pr. Reference the following invoice numbers so they know what to build. MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY the length of the axle should be REDUCED from 13mm to 11mm longer than stock. If you forget, you will have to have a local shop cut 2 mm off each axle before installing...

293953 for SE axles
292383 for non-SE axles "

End Quote
.

What I want to know, is if the replacement Moser axles have the brake and wheel centering pilot rings like a stock axle flange. Or are they just flat-faced?. RX7 racers out there.... What is your experience with Moser?

Bought a GSL-SE axle housing a while back along with 4 transmissions. The axle housing went to a friend,it had Moser axles, wished i could have kept it...i do recall the axles had a hubcentric flange(s)machined on their ends. They did not have 6mm x 1.0 holes drilled and tapped for rotor retention screws.
Had no luck trying to contact them @2 years ago,if you're successful,am interested in a set. Maybe they'd be more interested in doing 2 sets than one?

I have Moslers in mine. They are flat faced. the rear end was 84 GSL, SE

I sent them one axle when I was having mine done, trust their measurements over mine. lol

they said it's basically a chevy 10 bolt rear end axle cut to fit FWIW

Good to know. I was wondering if they could still do them any more since the section on their site for custom axles doesn't mention they can do less than 28 spline axles.

Do you happen to have an invoice number someone else can reference when ordering another?

It was a couple years back...... If you send them an axle and your new bearings etc, they will hook you up, send em back ready to go bearings installed if memory serves. mine were 4 lug and I went to 5 lug fwiw

Might still have pic of Se housing with Moser axles.
At this point wish I kept it. Would really rather have hubcentric collars on axles.
