Question for anyone running Mikuni's on a 12a

Looking at getting a set of either 42 or 44mm Mikuni's and was wondering what intake manifold could be used with them.

Thanks,
Joe

And even the 44mm mikuni is too small. Start with a 48mm DCOE or Dellorto.

I'm pretty sure running 2 44mm Mikuni's would be enough to feed a stock port 12a.

So would a Weber manifold work?

I bought the 44PHH mikuni setup years ago. Made the stock engine much more fun. However, it was too small for a bridgeport, so I took it off and inserted a 50DCO weber and matched the diameter of the tubes so the bore was the same were the carb mates.

Mikuni 44PHH is good for stock or mildport 12a forsure. I loved that carb for the added performance and not really any loss in MPG too. Rev'd much more smoothly then the Nikki crap and simple to adjust and idle very smooth.

So is there a specific Mikuni manifold for the 12a, or can any of the "wrap around" style work?
