question about the rear links

question about the rear links

i remember theres was a thread about what links you cant put poliruthane bushing on the rear, i search for it and i cant find it. does somebody have that link or can tell me what links i cant put poliruthane bushings at? thanks

I replaced all the bushings and am happy with it. The common opinion, however, is to 'maybe' do the Watts linkage, replace the upper links with Mazda parts, and put poly bushings in the lower. That's the prevailing opinion, but I happen to disagree.

How darn tight do these links have to be? torqued to? I have one that rattles, bummer.

Check out RX7Carl's page @ www.pbandjracing.com

He gives a quick overview of why the rear end has troubles and his low-buck solution.

He doesn't advocate putting poly bushings in the Watts link or the upper links, just the lower ones. I don't have any experience with it first hand, but he sure does.
