Question about Black Dragon Automotive Items...

Hey guys, I have a few question about some items I am looking into from Black Dragon Automotive.

1. Their Euro Crystal Clear Headlight, They say they are Street Legal 50 state so, are this like the one on ebay?

2. Heavy-Duty Headlight Harness, are this heavy-duty harness good? I know some people say to make your own but I have no idea how to do that.

3. Crane cam Premium Street Coils. Are these better than the one in Schuck's Auto store?

2. I just bought this harness. Its an asian one they are reselling, all the writing on it is in kanji of some sort. It looks well put together and appears complete with relays. Looks simple to install. BTW, I've done a rewire with relays for the headlights myself on another vehicle and just decided i'd try this out because I'm lazy. I also bought the Hella halogens (72-003) as well. I haven't gotten to installing it all yet, its on the todo for the winter though.

Hey t_g_farrell, Do you need to buy two harness or one?

By the way about hose 72-003 lights, are those better than the one sold on ebay? I trying to get good lights but I pretty broke. lol I like that white/blue look on those new cars it seem bright. I got some ultra bright lights for the Tiburon those cost me like $98 dollars. Nice bright light bults and legal on all 50 state.

Also have anyone here tried "Colortune 500" Part number 70-383 sells for 69.95?

1. No. the design on the reflector is a little diff.

2. Yes. like u i didnt know how so i bought this one. lights are brighter and it only takes one harness to do a car.easy installation.

3. Depends. In tx i havnt seen a schucks before, but my local autozone has the same one for about 20 more $$. I bought the black one from vb. pretty noticable diff. smoother runnin

Those ultra bright lights are a nuisance to everyone else on the road. Especially anyone over 40, since the iris doesn't close down as well so you get easily dazzled. I've almost gone off the road because an SUV with those things came up behind me. Next time the guy in front of you slows down and makes strange moves, give a thought to your lights.

I only buy the expensive lights that have special reflection which will minimize glare from other drivers and keep most of the high bean lower. That is one thing I love about the Tiburon I have, it keeps the lights below driver windows so even if is super bright it will not refect off someone from behind or in front. God I love that car!

The headlight harness VB/BD sells appears to be a fairly good item. If you were to buy all the stuff to make it yourself, you would have close to the same cost invested.
I am planning to use something very similar, if not the one they sell. The harness takes the load off your headlight switch and 20+ year old wiring. The result is generally brighter lights, from not having the power drop from old wiring, and longer lifespan for the headlight switch.
