I have no clue, but i'm pretty sure that there is something in the Archives. I have MSD Blaster 2 coils running through my dizzy. I need to fix my timing before I go to a full MSD setup

that seems like both are for the leading... you can't do a direct fire on the trailing? is it possible to swap the dizzy for a electronic one from a 13bt?

again sorry for thread jack

EDIT: so is it possible to hook up two 6AL boxes?

I followed the SM baker route. Im currently only running an MSD wastespark on the leading, and stock ignition on trailing w/ MSD blastercoil. soon i plan on running another MSD through the dizzy for trailing ign.

Sgt.Stinkfist, move the trailing wires to the leading part of the cap.

666cody666, no. Run it through the cap.

It is possible to hook up two boxes, one for leading and one for trailing. If you are wanting to use the 6ALs rev limiter, this is a must... With a 6AL only on the Leading, the trailing would not be limited causing major issues. As far as I know, you can do a direct fire on the trailing as well, you would run it just like the leading, just use the other ignitor, but is it worth it? The trailing does help, but the stock is more than enough to serve this function.

You can run 2 boxes two ways. Wither both through the cap, or one diorect fire for the leading and one through the cap for trailing.

I broke the msd rule "do not mount in a sealed area ie. glovebox" , although our glove boxes are pretty open and vented if you ask me, and my msd doesn't get hot in the glovebox so i dont see the harm. its only temporary though, as soon as i move the battery to the storage bin the msd is goin where the battery was

I have both of my msd's in the glove box and have never had any issues. the guy that had them before me had them in the same spot and raced scca with the car he had them in. i did take out the glove box completely and have them on a shelf i built.

I have mine mounted next to the firewall on the DS. I have seen pics of other people doing the same. I like it, because it keeps all the wiring short and clean.
