Does anyone know if the tinted glass sunroof for the RX-7 at JC Whitleys just replaces the stock portion that pops off or is it a kit that you have to remove all the hardware and stuff and put the new one in? Or even better does anyone know a place that sells a glass sunroof for the 7 that just replaces the stock one and can _still_ be removed as simply as the stock one??

i just bought one off EBAY in good shape for like $130 US (better than the $300 Racing Beat wanted) i can never find a 1st gen in the scrap yards around here, never mind the glass roof so i didn't have much of a choice. i has the same hardware as the metal one.

I'm more then sure,that the j.c. witney roof, is not a direct replacement
for the rx7 roof
