Pulling engine..... Need HELP NOW!!!!!!

So Ive removed all my bolts and lines, and now it has come time to pull the engine, except for the fact that it seems that it doesnt want to come. I can get a gap from where the tranne and motot meet up, but I just cant get it to come apart!!! Please help.. now!!!!!! Only three more hours till i have to leave for work!!!!

Maybe transmission shaft is stuck in the pilot bearing. Try EVENLY prying to separate the two.

make sure you removed the bolt that was under strart isnt there. It hidden when the starter is in place. If you have ALL of the bolts removed, pry it apart with a bar, or tire iron.

Is that the one you have to get at with a 17 mm open wrench??

The bolt is going to be hidden by the starter, I ran into the same problem, I thought I had all the bolts out and I didn't. You have to take the starter out. After that you should be able to take a screw driver and pull it apart. I used one of the 3 motors I had out as a reference as to how many bolts they had to take out. Let me know how that goes.

there is one that you have to have a 14mm socket to get out. take yoru starter and you can get to it (you ahve to pull starter anyway)

HA hahahaha that was it!!!! Sweetness!!! Now I just need a cople frinds to get over here to lift it up!! Time for da rebuild process to get started. Should be running by next year!

haha...I finally got it right. lol Yeah just make sure you put the parts together and label them, I didn't label mine and I know its going to take forever and a year to get mine back in. I am actually putting a streetported s5 n/a. Good luck with the rebuild.
