Also got a new generic shifter and boot, I used the old shift boot to help
fill the gap from the new shift boot, I took the old boot cut it up, inverted
it, and glued it to the underside of the shifter cover, worked out nicely.

And lastly put the FD alt on, which bolts up fine, you need to get a longer bolt and nut
for the single ear side, no biggy. 130Amps will be nice
This alternator was modified to work on a 2nd Gen, and bolts to the SE it seems.

From Silverrotor-
"They are not replicas but authentic 1993-1996 OEM FD Alternators. They crank out 100 ampheres but the tests I have performed, prior to shipping, puts out an average 130 ampheres. Every Alternator Is tested before sold.

1984se - Lots of rewiring, I've already moved the battery back to the storage bin, so its half way done

RotaryRyan - 2 bolts and 3 wires provided its modified to fit the standard pully.

How far is it from your strut bar?

And how long ago did you get yours? He quit selling in May.

its about 1/2" below the bar, being a Cusco bar its right over it, the CP and Racing beat 2 point site forward the alt and clear better.

I got it the last week he was selling them, I think he only had 3 left when I got it.

Jeeez. I'm gonna hafta do something to my car fairly soon just to keep up.

And I think I know what it will be...

BTW - Placed 3rd in class at the Rallycross. The new suspension works *very* well, the car actually responds to steering input now. Unless the brakes are applied, WAY too much front braking. But ve haff vays of makink ze rear brakes verk...
