Project Update, if anyone's interested
More of a summary really.
I was browsing through my pictures folder and found some pictures from when I first started working on the 7 years ago. I thought I'd share a few pics from then, from last year and my teardown, and finally, some pics of where the project is now.
When I started, the car was not only bone stock, but it was dirty as hell and had spent 4 years sitting.
So the first set of pics here are what the car looked like when I started.

Last Year
And here are some pics of what the car looked like late last year / early this spring before I started the teardown.

Pictures of the teardown
And this is what the car looked like when I started my 2-week teardown of the engine bay this year, along with a few pics of parts that I proceeded to install.

And pictures of what it looks like now
What an amazing improvement over where I started. And even over last year. The wiring harness has been trimmed. New carb, FD alt, powdercoated panels, and tons of other things

Looking good. Now all ya need to do, is get one of those bling-*** air cleaner lids that RESpeed no longer sells, and get rid of the beehive. Yes, I know you have a powdercoated beehive from trochoid, but a FC FMOC is a better upgrade.
Oh, and some nice wheels would go good on it, too.....

I cannot believe how bad that radiator looked, and it was a replacement one, not the oem one. From looking at the engine bay, it's a good thing you saved the car from the po. And I see dribbles on my powdercoated parts.

Not a problem for the air cleaner. Wait until you see mine

Beehive is going.... when I rebuild the engine.
And Scott, they aren't dribbles, the light makes it look that way. It's where my fingers ran across the surface and removed pollen and dust that had collected there. Nothing a damp rag won't fix.

How can you let dust collect on it? These cars are way too much fun to drive. I took mine to DFW over the weekend, and played all day on the track at Motor Sport Ranch......
I had forgot how good it rides, till I left town. We got some rich politicains, and rough roads. Gotta be a connection, but darned if I can figger it out...........

lol, the dust is from the 1,500km road trip I took to see Sterling, so there's no worry about how much I drive the car!
Dust just really seems to get in there from driving on dry dusty roads with no engine bay "under cover pan"

Yeah, not only did I remove the rat's nest, but I traced back all the connectors and removed them from the wiring harness completely.
mr_ouija is spot-on with his guess, that is definitely the FC fuse box that replaced my old fusible links. pink = 30amps Green = 40amps and Yellow = 60amps IIRC. I don't have the car with me right now to check, but I'm pretty sure that's right.

Yes, but the fusible link box only has 3 spots and has that ugly wire-holder attachment that you can't remove.
This lets me have a fuse for my e-fan, and any other accessories I put in, and looks cleaner.
And the price was right. It was bloody cheap.
