Gotta love a fresh paintjob, nice color too, nothing to over the top, but still different.

one weekend eh lol ... not going to happen as I'm not going to get it till most likely monday morning. From there the fun begins.

I got my battery case back with a little surprise, a good one. He didn't do it like I said exactly, and went a bit more creative on there.

Just got word that my carpet was done in the custom color, but will just be getting shipped out today which kinda sucks. Oh well.

I really hope i get tons of stuff come in all at once tomorrow though.

well I meant to post up pictures of my battery case yesterday, but my camera battteries were dead. Anyhow, here they are now, the whole thing probably weighs something like 2lb or something. I'll weight it later on. They did make a mistake on which side it gets mounted to the cross member, but that will easily be fixed. I still need to do a few things to complete it.

So weighed my battery case, and came to just a tad under 2lb. The stock one weighs about 1lb. So not too much increase in weight. Also for curiosity's sake, i weighed my optima battery and came to a whopping 35lb.

The digital battery terminal is off ebay, you can also acqurie them from speed shops, and audio shops too. But if you wish to go the ebay route, just search the terms "Digital battery terminal" or something along those lines.

about it taking patience ... it indeed does. There are so many parts to it you get lost yourself into it.

Thanks joe for posting those up ... I couldn't do anything on the shell yesterday because we came in too late, but today should have all the mechanical done up, and also hoping that Aaron can help me get it fired up ... from there its all downhill.

Well just got my Damplifier Pro in the mail a few seconds ago. It appears to be really sticky which should be good. I should be installing that today. Now to wait for the carpet to still come in. The thing that sucks about waiting on parts like this, you put any of the interior almost without having that stuff in there first. Such as the carpet, which I hope gets in before the end of the week.

well forgot to bring my camera with me today but the engine and tranny have been swapped, most of the engine bay is pretty much in there ... not that there's much to it lol ... It sure is looking pretty sweet now. I wish the sun would come out so that I can take some shots of it.

Well got the car home now, need to do some more body work assembly, started the headlights, then onto the interior. I've got pictures of the paint in a better shot ... mind you the car is still kinda dirty, hasen't been cleaned up yet, and just rained on it. Also got a small ding on my door already somehow, hopefully I can pop it out easily, and then just bufff out the little scuff mark. Anyways enough me talking ...

I have a degree in Robotics, and another in Electronics, finshed both those this year. On November 26, counting the days now, I'm starting up at a local welding school, and I'm going for the all out program they offer, which includes, aluminum and stainless steel, various welding typer with various brand machines, pipe welding, along with pressure testing, and Xray testing. I work at a steakhouse to keep me debt free

well got the Damplifier Pro in, wiper motor assembly in, 90% of the engine bay is completed, thats the good news

Now for the bad news, well that ding that i got on the door, I thought I could get it from behind but no, its right where the bar is in the door, so tomorrow if I get a chance, I'm going to try to go at it with a heat gun, and an air can. If that works good, that would be sweet, if not, i'm going to have to take it in to get it out. Also to make matters worse, the front bumper, has a crack in the dead center section of the top lip. doesn't even extend to the end so not sure how that happened, but what I will do is porbably get some fiberglass and fiberglass it all in place from the back side... atleast that would hold it in place till I get it sorted out. :@

Besides that making progress still

Got my front crossmember from Billy today. Apperently the actual rack and pinion is still held at the borders and should be in shortly. Also received my front bumper installation kit from mariah ... can they honestly make the thing any more complex. Cutting off the tabs on the shock bumpers, whole bunch of hardware kit with it ... ridiculous, almost don't feel like reading through 7 pages of installation for a front bumper and leaving the fron open lol. Also was kinda surprised they don't have a typed copy of it neither to make it look a little bit more pro. Probably papers written from the 1980's when they first started doing this stuff, and just kept on photo copying them.

All my glass is in now also. Charging up my camera for hopefully a big moment tonight lol ....

Pictures will come once batteries are charged
