That sucks. I know a lot of FD guys ran into this problem. They bought injectors that were listed as 1600cc and some actually only flowed 550cc. Kevin at kgparts has been flow testing some of these for people. It seems to be hit or miss. Some actually flow rated and some flow well below. Even worse is it isn't consistant so 1 injector will be flowing more than the other (as in your case). There was a big thread about them and an annoucement in the classifieds. I don't see it now, though.
Here is an older thread about them:

Ya never trusting that company again. I think that I still want to flow test them just in case. I'd rather spend a few bucks to make sure it works properly KG part or whom ever. I know he has a really good rep but at this point I would just feel better.
The engine is being rebuilt by my original engine builder Dave from Mazdees in Pickering. It was suppose to be done by RPM motorsports in Kitchener, but when i called up Dave to get some housings and a rotor off him, he told me if I brought it in to him he's give me a good deal. 2000$ that includes 2 new housings, a pair of matching rotors, rebuild kit, porting the housings again to streetport template, upgrading the corner seal springs to 3rd gen, doing the oil pressure increase mod, and 3 window bearing (this might extra). Also he might have a lightweight flywheel for my to slap on the car too. We did call up NRS to see if he had any 12a ceramic seals ready to go, but he didn't so we're opting for stock ones right now. Thats an exclusive price for me though, doesn't normally charge this cheap. Besides the first one he built me was great and so should this one.
Everything should be done for this weekend if all goes good. I've got some photo's of the damage but their on my cellphone and I don't have a data cable.

I know that when it comes to pictures taken via cellphone, you should have the option of uploading them to your account online.
And, good to hear about the car's heart transplant! Must see pics of new engine when built!

This is my first car, and i'm not about to loose it. I'm barely making enough money right now to afford this, but i'm just too inlove with Rexy ... Is it wrong to love a car this much? My welding schools 15,000$ price tag for one year is really killing me. I really hope it all pays off in the end. I'll be getting an audi S4 for a daily driver, unless i can find a good cosmo.

Here's that other Venom injector thread that I was looking for.

Cool. For some reason it wasn't showing up in the search last night. Have no idea why. Anyway, it is something that everyone should read if they have an EFI car. I saw some Venoms as a stock replacement once at Napa or some store like that. Price was good, but didn't really need them, so I passed. I wonder if their 'stock' ones are as bad as their larger sizes? Don't think that I want to find out.
Anyway, good luck on the new engine.

So i received my new injectors yesterday and had them flow tested today. Came in within 2cc difference. Thats more like it. The only down side, I was really hoping it would be more of a cone shape, like they're not horribly bad, but truth be told, the misting of the venom's is awesome. They're finally saying that they'll be able to give me an exchange on the Venom, so we'll see how that goes.

New engine is in, and will be on the dyno this friday morning. We'll see how things go on the other dyno Car definatly pulls alot harder now, and my EGT's are pretty much the same now
Who wants to guess HP numbers? If i can see my 170whp, I'd be a very vey happy man, but I'd settle with about 165 for now too

Well a few more updates!
Did that dyno after installing the lightweight flywheel too and everything and I'm at 160whp ... not too shabby ... I'll find that few more ponies to get to 170. Also took it out to the track and did a best of 14.6 on a cold day with no fresh glue laid down at the track.
Also started buying all my T2 brake upgrade stuff along with camber plate and strut tower all from Re-Speed.
Later to come will be the custom rims and I'll be getting some nice Toyo Proxies R888 tires for next season too. Getting ready for the fun times again.
Lastly I gotta change out the bearings in the rear end I believe ... making a little clunking noise when ever I let off the throttle and then go back on. While I'm in there i'll probably go to a taller rear end also.

Thanks for the compliment Jimmy, and thanks for sparing parts out of your old car to make sure i drive back home safely (Long story short, lets just say that apperently I tracked the car all last year and daily drove it with a stripped brake fitting ... well not fully but had about a thread and a half holding my rear driver caliper flex line to the hard line).
Did you guys get those injectors out yet?
(PS: I still have to upload those pictures from your car and see if they came out any good)

sucks to hear about those injectors
that clunk you speak of is the lighten flywheel I would bet you.
Mine does the same thing. gets really annoying around 2,500rpm for some reason.
your going to love the 5 lug brakes after driving a 12a fb with stock brakes and one with the t2 stuff I would reccomend to all this upgrade. the stock brakes are down right scary!

You know, Sam, you have an opportunity with your webcam to do something I've always wanted to. You could place a webcam front and rear and stream video to the carputer you're running, and maybe maintain a 1hr buffer or something when running around town. If you ever get busted for running a light that was yellow, or get into an accident, it's no longer just your word against theirs.

As for the light clutch doing that sound, what would be causing it? Because its definatly coming from the rear when I hear it, and it would do it without me touching the clutch, as in if i just let off the gas and get back on it and it would clunk when I let off and then once again when i get back on. The weird thing is it doens't do it all the time but its starting to do it more often.

My calipers front and back have come in YAY... I'll post some before and after pictures of them. My second list from Re-Speed has been sent through:
Axles (GSL length)
Camber plate kit
Axle retaining plates
Complete big brake kit
Full line kit
Strut tower with firewall brace
Lots of stuff to do in the summer time.
Also had to buy a new starter solenoid today, my old one was starting to die, so I'll have to install that soon.
