Unhappy Problems,problems And more problems=(

Ok after finding out that i had a Bad injector..........I picked up 2 High impedance TII injectors and replaced the FPR from my old SE rail to the TII rail, just to drive the car until i get new injector.and the car does not even idle and it runs like **** backfires/and more< people think i'm dancicg or something.LOL
So then i tried hokking up all 4 S4 TII injectors 2 in parallel(P1/S1) and (P2/S2) and the car runs better like that until i hit 4k rpms it starts to bug down (i cant even boost) So when i hear the turbo stating to get loudAbout 3700ish rpms(spooling) keep the gas there about 1/4 thottle and if i press the pedal more same **** (starts to cut off) I got pissed and just floor it !!!!and @ high RPMS is cool Boosts up and all But Thats after 5.3 or 6K I htought I had the injector wires reversed (rotor 1 with rotor2) so i switch them arround and still the same=(
By the way i got confused and dont know wich one is wich anymore......Anyone know the colors 4 the GSL-SE injectors?<wires?
and one more thing...............What the hell is this thing in the pictar?

Idle mixture trim control ****.

Are you running the stock SE computor? Those high impedance injectors wont work right and you might ruin the ECU,injectors or worse by running them. The SE and all 2nd gens until 87.5 need to have low impedance injectors.

The thing in the picture is the variable resistor. Its purpose is to adjust the idle mixture. The screw can be turned toward the R to richen the mixture, or L to lean it out.

Yes I'm running the SE computer
Can i do something to lower the impedance? Like some people do w/ SE to High imp computers?

Nope.
You can make low impedance injectors high by adding inline resistors, but not the other way around.Dont risk your engine or ECU,get the right injectors......

Basically, what they said. You should see if you could borrow some low impedance 460s or 550s. As far as the injector wiring, it shouldn't matter. The SE fires both at the same time. It doesn't have any way of knowing what position the engine is in in order to to sequential injection.

Also, if you are running an SE ECU, - they don't adjust for boost. You will go lean, detonate and pop your engine. period.

I recommend you run either an AIC like web777, a TII ECU like Steve84GS TII, a good blow-thru cabrurator setup like I had - or a full stand-alone like setzep.
