Probably getting some Enkies

Alright first of all, for 50$, from my best buddy. Yes its true. Here's the story. He got some the enkies from Gonzz. my buds selling his 7 and has the enkies on them. They're black center with polished lip, not the best shape. One is sanded down to silver. He said he would like to see them on my car as my 7 is formula white(ya). So, for 50$ I can have these. Then i'll just trade wheels with him, my stockers for when he sells it. What do you think?? I definatley want them. they'll will need to go to a shop to make them look like new again unless i just leave them like they are now. Only thing is when I go to a shop for them to get repaired i'll have to have my car on stands for a few weeks, or months. Plus my stockers are really nice, but I want these. I also will give him more then what hes asking cause he spent more and I owe him. O ya, im pretty sure they're 15X7, don't know anything else.

So, when i take these to the shop i'll have my car on stands for afew months probably. He said if I find him some stockers for cheap, he'll sell them to me unless i trade him. I don't know if i should trade him though, because my stocks are nice and plus it would be great to just have them as extras in the attic for when the enkies get repaired so i can still drive the 7. What do you guys think about trading my stockers for his and giving him more than 50$ for them. i guess i could sacrifice for a month or two on just stands but i always miss my 7 when i cant drive her. So, should i find him some stockers(other than mine) for him to sell with the car and i buy the enkies and have extra set for when the enkies get repaired i can stil drive it or just trade him?? I bet i know the answer and sorry so long.

I would go for it as I like the look of the Enkies on our 1st gens.
Why would it take 2 months for the wheels to get repaired?
The repair places around here take any where from1 to 2 weeks for wheel repairs. Look around and ask for a quicker turnaround time.

You know, i just don't know. Well, I would think that. I've read about some wheel repair shops people have had on here and took them awhile. I just guessed that. Im probably wrong, just my guess. Well, if it takes that long, that would be great.

If you have the extra money, then that is a deal. Fifty dollars for rims. Even if they aren't in that great of shape, you can always throw them on for some autocross rims or something of that nature.

If you don't have the money for them, or if you don't have the money to repair them then its not a wise buy, obviously.

Bump what, buy the damn things. If you don't, then go to the end of the line and post them up so someone else can buy them. Fwiw, the last time I was at the local wreckers, I could buy any 1st gen rim on a car, less tires, for 10 bucks. That's about what they get out of them for salvage.

Okay trochoid hahaa, i was wondering if i should find another pair of wheels for him because he doesn't want me to trade my stockers because they are nice and plus when the enkies get repaired i wont be able to drive it for awhile. if i found some wheels from the junkyard for him and then I could keep my stockers and also get the enkies... you know what i mean. Ive been looknig around all day(through emails) and haven't found anything from junkyards. Its knida confusing but basically if i found him some stock wheels with tires(not mine) i'll be able to have my stock ones as a backup for whn they get repaired.
