Premixing and Catalytic Converters
After reading around I've decided to premix, but there's a problem I've ran into. I've been told that the catalytic converters can get clogged if you premix, which can lead to even larger problems. So how to I handle this? Should I just expect to replace my cat every so often? Is there a way to prevent it from clogging? I could just delete it but it's illegal so I'd rather not. For context I have a FB GSL. Thanks for any help.

Hey, YoshiFB - first off, welcome aboard.
On the catalytic converter, given the age of these cars, unless your GSL was garaged and not driven for a VERY long time, the cats are likely already destroyed internally through corrosion. Typically the heat generated in there is enough to cause the media to disintegrate over time, and finding new cats is going to be problematic and expensive. Depending on where you live, you may or may not require an emissions test; if you do, you need to protect that stock exhaust system as best you can - and that means DO NOT pre-mix. If your Oil Metering Pump is working correctly - KEEP IT. Going to pre-mix is messy, causes problems when you get the mixture wrong, and will result in unburned oil getting incinerated in your cats raising their temp and speeding their demise.
Also, might be a good idea to grab the specifics for your car and put them in your signature line. That way, we can all tell what model you have, what mods you've made, and can better assist you in the future. Good luck,

the oil is bad for the cats, but not that bad, it would take years and years to clog, if they even do
