gs, you're correct. Just add per the amount you put into the tank and you're ratio will not change unless the car has sat long enough for the mixture to come out of suspension.

I see three pages of responses and no real problem. We are just yapping and sharing our experiences, this can often be helpful and provide insights that you might not already have. Also, clicking on the thread is of course optional, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. And if it really turns out to be a problem, don't worry, Carl will delete it. Let's nurture what little free speech we have left!

I added OCTANE BOOSTER to my car with 8 oz of oil to 12 gallons of gas. It rides fine! So for those of you wondering about OCTANE BOOST - ITS A GO!

Unfortunately I didn't know my gas mileage before I started premixing, but so far I've been running about 17mpg locally and 25mpg hwy (though about half that tank was run locally too so it should be a little better for all hwy driving).

What was the difference in gas mileage that you experienced? Only a few miles difference could be anything from driving style, weather, engine wear, preventative maintenance items (spark plugs) fowling, etc.

BTW, only two pages for me. Different settings

1 oz per gallon, smokes like a bug sprayer in mine, cutting back to 1/2 oz per gallon
