i have an 84 se and an 85 gsl. i swapped the 13b and all the body wiring from the se into the gsl. i was wondering if the power steering pump and all accesories from the 12a will bolt up to my 13b. i was gonna delete the power steering but if i can get it to work ill use it. also there is some sort of switch on the pump. if my car came stock w/o power steering would the wiring for this switch be there. thanx

The p/s should work with no problem. Did you also install the P/S gear box from the SE into the GSL?

You don't need to hook up the wiring to the switch on the P/S set up from the Se. It is for the speed sensitive steering that the Se came with and will not have any effect on the P/S if you don't use it. If you did use it you would have to use the control unit from the Se also.

 

its all a misunderstanding. the power steering WAS in the gsl. when i put the 13b from the se in the gsl will the power steering pump bolt up tothe 13b. sorry
