Power Steering

Well i finally got a new ps pump from that parts car i got and she works, wow its nice. Gotta drain the system, i put all new ps fluid in but its pretty white for some reason so there musta been some in the lines. Anyways, my question is on the line that connects via banjo fitting has a big plug on it with a few wires goin to it. WTF does that do, just curious.

That is for the processor under the dash for the speed sensitive steering. To give more boost or pressure when turning into say a tight spot when turning slow such as parking. Also supposed to have an effect when driving or cornering.

well thats cool, makes me feel stupid thou because today, after having it for the first time in years i was thinking of a great inventiopn that would disable the ps at higher speeds almost like a clutch type system, but i see its already done
