Hello, my name is Seth. I just bought an 85 gs from Chad today. This is my first RX7 i have owned although i have put in and taken out several rotary engines in Garfinkles garage. I am Pauls (fero313) roomate so that makes 3 rx7s between the two of us. Im excited about this car if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

You need to determine 1st what your main priority is? Cornering, performance, etc...
What your budget is and go from there. After reading the bizillion FAQS about this stuff were more then happy to advise you. There are so many mods and upgrades for these cars now.
By the way. Un Coche Rotatorio translated= A rotary car?

Start off with body mods because it doesn't matter how well it runs, stops, and how good it handles so long as it looks good. You can start off by painting it neon green and putting vynil decals all down the side of it. Then line the front windshield and the side of the car with decals from parts companies like AEM, APC, Brembo, Eibach, and all those other things that are in the greatest game in the world (Need for Speed Underground 2 for those of you who don't know that.), and then you can finish it off with some nice looking 19 inch rims that spin. Wooo that would be one hell of a hot car.... Oh and I almost forgot, get a giant triple level wing too. Paint it black to give it more flavor.

But on a serious note, I say there is near infinite possibilities for what you can do to your car. I'm fortunate enough to own two and have two different plans for each (13b TII engine/tranny in one, NA 12a on the other). Read the FAQ's, and search the archives for things already been done. Tons and tons and tons of swaps can be done, then you have porting, you have turbo or supercharging, you have tons of carbs to choose from, tons of exhausts to choose from, you can do whatever you want to do with these cars. The one thing to consider though, if you swap in a V8 just watch out coming into the First Gen Section asking about this and that on the how-to's. That will lead to a lot of anger.
