potential power gains from webber carbs

what is the up side of installing a webber carb on my 12a?
would there be more power?
whats fuel econ like?
how hard is it to do?

dude, keep y0 shet stock. you'll regret the carbs we roll on............ LOLOL

and you won't get good gas mileage either since pumping losses on the IDA are far significantly greater than the nikki or sterling carbs.

if you're willing to give up MPG, then IDA would make your 12a scream. but then again, you won't pass smog either.

but that's where wackyracer comes in. his smog hook-ups are teh best~! thanks wacky for passing my 1976 Ford Pinto

for a stock 12a i recommend a sterling/yaw/rxcarl modded nikki. if u want weber, the ida is more for race set ups, i think the idf is a little more nice on the streets.

For the cost, you may as well buy the real carb and let me tune it. And what made you think that the IDA is not streetable.

iv'e decided. ill just rebuild the stock nikki. its been running realy good the last couple of days.
