not true. i seized my water pump and managed to hobble my car home about 20k, then again i was using some creative driving like turning ignition off and letting it coast soon as the temp gauge started to rise. carrying some duct tape would be helpful in that situation to atleast keep the fan running, too.

Problem: Strange tractibility issues on acceleration from stop, improves with speed but always with a vague feeling that response is not as brisk and immediate as in past

Solution : never use refridgerator water line tubing for Rx7 engine bay vacuum lines to vacuum advance - lines were melting and collapsing slowly and throwing timing out
