The engine bay harnesses change frequently. I know for sure that '83 and '84 have major differences ('83 doesn't have any wiring on the passenger side it all comes from the driver's side) and that '85 has changes from '84...

We'd need to know year, and exactly which harness. As far as I can tell, the drivers' side engine wiring harness isn't removable. At least, not easily. You'd have to un-wire it from everything it connects to on the inside and feed it through, which I don't see as being easily possible. I could be wrong though, but that's how it looks to me.
