post pics of 1st gen with aftermarket wheels

I'm considering getting aftermarket wheels for my 1st gen but I want to see what some of you are sporting out there on your cars. Something I had my eye on were panasports or watanabes, but I would still like to see what you guys have.

Another question is what is the ideal wheel and tire sizes for a first gen? I was thinking either 15x7 or 14x7

I currently have a set of 14 X 7 rims with 205/55 Nitto Drag Radial 555R's all around. They fit the back wheel well real good, probally with room for more tire if necessary, say... real slicks perhaps.

They sit well under the front too.. no major rubbing issues... all quick fixes and I have Racing Beat Springs which dropped the car from stock an inch I think all around.

Here is a pic of my first rx7. It was an 85 gsl-se so it had the common bolt pattern. I put some Konig Viege i believe is what they were called on it. 16x7 with some kuhmo exta supras. Im not sure if the wheels are made anymore. I bought them about 3 or 4 year ago. They looked great and did the car perfectly however i could tell a big weight difference between them and the factory wheels.

It's lowered with Suspension Techniques springs, tokico illumina 5 way adjustable shocks and has a V8 sitting under the hood

I had 16" Momo wheels, but I regretted going that route and then I got these 17"s

Might as well Go 17" from the start you you will regret it.

Advan RG,17".
Pricey, but light and attractive.Lots of phonies out there for less money, but same look.Would be good for an SE or SE conversion because they have no dish and would tuck well, probably 17X7. I run 8" and 9" because Im widebody....

My old Centerlines, back in the day.15X7,they came from the factory with 110MM and 114.3MM patterns. No special order or anything!Got em' from Les Schwab....
