Which porting templates are best?
Looking to port my 12a, and I am looking for experience here. Not sure if I want to go with a bridge port or extended street port. The car is going to be set up for auto cross in the prepared class. I know the bridge will be more tricky down low, and less drivable. I do not plan on cutting into the rotor housings, so I think the stette port is best. I was looking at the mazdatrix set and the Judge Ito set, but am not sure if his is still available. Any opinions?

Go to nopistons.com....I believe he still posts there, if not I know a fella who may want to sell his. Ito's street ports makes my car sound likes it bridgeported....brap,brap,brap! Wild street ports! Go with the RB exhaust race ports you cant go wrong!

One other question, how is the power delivery with this combo? I am looking for a setup that will be good for autocross, so I don't want an engine that doesn't make power till like 6,000 RPM. I am looking for as broad a powerband as possible, as throttle response is key.

It has been brought to my attention that Ito might not have made 12a templates. How are the RB plates? What about a half bridge setup (leave primaries stock, and go to town on the secondaries)?

Well, after a little research, the 4 port template should work for either 12a or 13b. I'm still not sure which way to go with this engine. I'm gonna start another thread.
