porting options?

Hey, I finally got my TII 5 yesterday and I guess I'm gonna have to open it up since there is no compression in the rear rotor. Anyway, I was thinking of porting it while its open. I just wanted everyones opinion on which port is would be the best. I want something that isn't going to compramise reliability too much, but I also want something that will give me a power difference that I would be able to feel. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I think you should do a search with the word streetport. Or click on the thread at the bottom of the page that is titled "porting options". ;-)

if you didn't have to rebuild anyway, i would have said leave it stockported until you needed to rebuild, but since you have to ... i recommend a decent streetport. now feel free to search and learn what the other porting options are and make your own decision. however, i don't get the feeling that you're quite ready for anything much more radical - no offense intended.

as for reliability, that depends on several more variables that just port-type - supporting mods, engine management, use and moreover ... YOU.
