CO Pop up headlights. another reason to drive a an RX7

I read in Car and Driver that the EU has mandated pedestrian friendly body styles and that pop up head lights will be never more be installed in new cars. Yet another cool reason to ride a Rex. Dangerous to jail walkers at night. SC

Pop up lights aren't pedestrian friendly?? I don't think the front of any car is pedestrian friendly. That's why it's illegal to drive on sidewalks and through shopping malls. What were they thinking?

There are plenty of reasons why pop up lights don't make sense. Another complex system to malfunction, unnecessary weight with motors and such, aerodynamically pointless, etc. The only saving graces are that they look sexy and scare children who walk in front of the car. And that is why I will never go flush!

Pop up headlights make the car, in my opinion. Look good up. Look good down.

Me and my friend ran across each other one day opposite side of intersection. Instead of waving we just flipped the headlights up and down till the light turned green lol.

Im not cool on what the pass mod is. Ill look it up, I think it would be neat to get a blinker switch and make them go up and down left then right// repeat. or get an extra switch so you could make just one light wink

I think the flash to pass mod is pointless and waste of time.. I always pull back on the turn signal stalk (highbeams) for a second.. Works everytime.
